Hays are partnering with a well established accountancy practice based in the Cheltenham area who are seeking an accounts assistant to perform bookkeeping duties for a varied portfolio of clients.
Within the role you provide a number of high quality services to the firms clients including end to end bookkeeping, preparing accounts up to trail balance, preparing and filing VAT returns, assisting with management accounts & tax returns. To be considered for the role you will ideally be fully qualified AAT (although if you are part qualified/qualified by experienced you will be considered) and it is preferable that you worked within a similar role in an accountancy practice (however this is not essential).
In return you will receive a competitive salary, the opportunity to work for a fantastic firm with a great local reputation and experience exciting exposure through working with great clients. You will also receive full study support if you are aiming to continue your studies with the AAT. There is also free parking on site.
