Your new role is a 12 month maternity Fixed Term Contract. As Assistant Accountant you will be responsible for the UK and European entities.
Key Responsibilities include
What you'll need to succeed is a working knowledge of Intrastats, EC sales, VAT preparation as well as a good foundation in transactional finance. AAT Qualified would be of benefit and further support towards ACCA studies would be considered. Experience gained within a product rather than service industry would be advantageous. Fluent German would be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities include
- Preparation of EC sales and Intrastat submissions for European entities each month
- Preparation of first draft VAT return (European entities) submission each quarter
- Analysis of UK distribution costs
- Assist with preparation of monthly accounts
- Assist with external statutory audit
- Assist with sales invoice process, reconciling customer accounts and contacting customers for overdue items
- Control the supplier invoice process from receipt through to payment
