SG Financial Recruitment are currently working with a family run practice accountant based in Hull. Our client is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their small established accountancy practice, they are looking for someone who is hardworking, reliable, and personable to join their growing team.

The successful Bookkeeper will play a pivotal part of the company and work closely with the senior management team, you will have the following responsibilities:

* AAT Qualified is desirable

* Experience of working within an Accountancy practice

* Experience managing ledgers and bank reconciliations

* Ability to provide Bookkeeping service in house for the client of the firm, including processing and maintaining purchase ledger, sales ledger and nominal ledger

* Well versed in VAT returns and bank reconciliations

* Ability to work on both weekly and monthly payroll

* It is essential to be proficient at working to strict deadlines

To be the successful Bookkeeper for this role you will need to be reliable, driven and motivated individual who can work independently and also work in a team environment.
