JOB DESCRIPTION:Manager FinanceOur location in Columbus OH, currently has an opportunity for a Pediatric Finance Manager.This individual will lead, coordinate and ensure successful delivery of all financial planning and analysis for the Similac WIC P Additionally, this role supports WIC strategy through the development of valuation models used to evaluate WIC contract bids. The position also includes responsibilities for modelling the financial impact of innovation through the development process. This requires effective interaction with multiple functional areas and with Senior Pediatric leadership. This is a critical position within the Pediatric Finance organization.WHAT YOU'LL DOPrepare analysis of monthly and quarterly WIC financial results, providing insightful commentary for management reporting Prepare and maintain WIC financial model to be used to evaluate WIC contract bidsDevelop innovation financial projections and act as the main point of contact for innovation financials throughout the development lifecycleProvide wide range of ad–hoc analysis to Senior Management to support decision making.Prepare presentation materials for Senior Management financial and strategy reviews.Ensure that financial information is communicated on time, the information is accurate, complete and policies and standards are met.Effective time management by prioritizing tasks/projects to ensure timely submission of deliverablesAssist in ad hoc process and system projects as required.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU'LL BRINGRequiredBachelor's Degree – BA/BS in Accounting or Finance required.Certification Requirements: CPA and/or MBA preferred.PreferredFinancial expertise: Requires excellent analytical and problem–solving skills; ability to develop detailed financial models; ability to identify and concisely communicate the business implications of financials, Ad hoc analysis and preparation of presentations for senior leadership is a critical component of this role.Leadership: This individual will lead directly and indirectly as the key point of contact for WIC and Innovation financials. Must possess demonstrated leadership skills, including influencing others and maintain autonomy in a fast–paced environment.Communication: This role interfaces with multiple levels within the organization and excellent communication skills are essential. Constant interaction with multiple levels of the organization will require demonstrated maturity, professionalism and tactfulness.Deliver Results: Candidate must manage multiple priorities and changing customer demands under tight timelines. Additionally, strong organizational skills will be critical to success. Ability to effectively manage workload to ensure deadlines are not missed is critical. The individual must be highly motivated and have a desire to innovate. The ability to work independently is essential.Experience RequirementsThis position requires 8+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience. Experience in a financial modelling role is ideal. Candidate must possess strong PC/system skills; specifically Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
