Job Title: Finance Manager, Strategic FinanceLocation: Conyers, GA What we're looking for:We are looking for a Finance Manager, Strategic Finance who will be responsible for support on strategic projects ranging from financial support for new products, joint ventures, M, strategic capital investments, as well as development of the strategic plan, leading process improvements and other initiatives. Additionally, this role serves as the business support for the engineering and product management functions, including product P oversight and analysis. Works closely with six divisions and two joint ventures to analyze data and make recommendation based on the results. Communicate regularly with the executive team, including the CFO and President of Dover Food Retail. Ideal candidate will maintain a positive attitude toward change and be eager to continually develop and learn.What you will be responsible for in this role: Own reporting and key financial decision making surrounding strategic initiatives, new product launches, and other key initiatives such as scenario planning, ROI analyses, profitability, cost reduction, and growth opportunities as needed Develop and maintain financial models & templates in accordance with Dover requirements Partner with a division controllers and FP teams to drive consistency and best practices Continually improve and simplify the financial processes while ensuring a high degree of accuracy and leveraging systems capabilities Assist with M and other business development activities as applicableWhat are the basic qualifications? Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance 5+ years' experience in a financial leadership role What are the preferred qualifications? MBA, CPA, CMA, and/or Lean Certification are a plus. Background is cost accounting and/or a manufacturing environment are a plusTo be a great fit for the role: Demonstrates sound analytical depth and technical capability in finance and/or accounting methods Successfully demonstrated ability to evaluate and analyze business opportunities and present findings in a logical way to all levels of an organization Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills Employee must be an experienced user of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word and PowerPoint), budgeting, financial reporting and general ledger software.
