This is an excellent opportunity for a high performing and energetic individual to join a company and take a leadership role in the finance team.Position overviewSwyft Inc is seeking an experienced financialcontroller to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, development of internal control policies and procedures as well as cashflow and financial risk management.ResponsibilitiesManage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue RecognitionCoordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variancesPrepare and publish timely monthly financial statementsCoordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting within the Finance teamResearch technical accounting issues for complianceSupport month–end and year–end close processEnsure quality control over financial transactions and financial reportingManage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filingsImprove and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controlsManaging all financial commitments, cost controls and cash managementAdditionalcontroller duties as necessaryRequirementsBachelor's degree or master's degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field;7+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience and proven working experience as a Financial controllerStrong experience working with NetSuite and Microsoft Dynamics SLThorough knowledge of accounting principles and proceduresExperience with creating financial statementsExperience with general ledger functions and the month–end/year end close processExcellent accounting software user and administration skillsCPA or CMA preferred** Swyft, Inc. embraces diversity.
