This role is instrumental in partnering with both Supply Chain and FP leaders to establish and drive high–performance capabilities, by developing, interpreting and quantifying financial and operational metrics and analyses related to operations activities. Additional responsibilities include:Support month–end close process by meeting all deadlines with accurate submissionsAssist in coordination of planning and forecasting efforts and ensure due dates are achievedResearch, track and summarize key data including, trends, profitability and expense analysesEvaluate projects designed to improve operations, control costs, and improve performanceReport and interpret key performance indicators (KPI's) driving visibility for improved resultsEvaluate business cases/proposals to drive operations to make informed business decisionsResponsible for financial review of all supply chain product destruction workflowsResponsible for all weekly/monthly aged WIP reporting and cycle count reportingAnalyze plan/forecast/prior year results and variances to provide actionable insightsPerform ad hoc analytics and provide insights on variances and trendsQualifications1+ years of experience in Accounting/FinanceConsumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry experience a plusBachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting Master's Degree a plusAS400, Oracle, GL Wand, Hyperion, and Power BI knowledge a plusStrong Excel skillsStrong analytical skillsSolid understanding of general accounting principlesAbility to interpret data, identify and communicate potential opportunities and risksFlexible and able to prioritize multiple projects in order to meet deadlinesStrong interpersonal skills and capability to contribute to a fast–paced team environmentAble to sift through and analyze data and present in concise and structured mannerAble to draw conclusions, develop recommendations and identify risks/opportunities from dataExperience working within a dotted line reporting environmentEffective communication, written and verbal, and ability to influence others to get results or develop solutionsContinuous improvement orientationAbility to communicate across multiple levels of the organizationExcellent organization and time management skillsMust be proficient with Windows, Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Power Point, etc.Additional InformationThe Nature's Bounty Co. is an equal opportunity employer.
