Senior Financial Analyst

Generates monthly forecast, annual plan, and long range plan and presents to business Leads and partners. Interacts and partners with business segments teams to gather and compile information needed to conduct analyses, identify trends, and/or address senior management requests. Analyze manufacturer and product trends to provide internal guidance on margin initiatives and to generate forecasts of enterprise value. Supports Community & Specialty Pharmacy in negotiations by way of creating projections to determine the financial impact of acquiring new business or modifying existing terms. Creates and presents training documentation for new associates and the broader Finance group as required. Generates ad hoc analysis reports as needed. Performs related duties as assigned.What your background should look like (minimum qualifications) Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor's Degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires a minimum of 3 (three) to 5 (five) years directly related and progressively responsible experience. Master's Degree preferred.Knowledge of various financial management areas such as financial statement analysis and plan/budget development in addition to variance, trend, and profitability analysis Working knowledge of accounting and planning software packages Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Strong interpersonal skills Strong presenting skills Strong mathematical, organizational, and analytical skills, including exceptional attention to detail Ability to follow and interpret profit and loss statements Ability to think creatively and critically about manufacturer deals and profitability Understanding of ABC policies, philosophy, goals and objectives in order to affect financial oversight in protecting the company's assets Knowledge of SAP or other ERP system, Hyperion Essbase, SQL, or other query/reporting tools Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointWhat AmerisourceBergen offers We offer competitive total rewards compensation.
