This is a place where you can find a career with meaningful purpose–improving lives through your life's work.Senior R Financial Analyst – Endoscopy DivisionAbout the role: The R Financial Analyst acts as business partner to the Endoscopy R teams (Development, Clinical, Quality and Regulatory). He/she is responsible for in–depth interpretation of current and projected R results. He/she leads budgeting and forecasting of R spend and provides periodic reporting and analysis of results to senior leadership.He/she will also interact with finance across other divisions, plants and Corporate, and will promote communication and help influence consistent practices at all locations.Key responsibilities include: Perform all aspects of the monthly financial close including necessary journal entries, account reconciliations, generation of monthly and quarterly spending schedules, review of appropriate reserve entries, management reporting, variance/trend analysis Become a subject matter expert on the PPMS system and work with PPMS FRB to further improve its usability Provide headcount reporting and analysis Respond to requests from Corporate for analysis of historical and future R spend and EU MDR related forecasting and actuals confirmations Manage the overall CAPEX budget of the division Support Value Improvement Program by working with project teams on savings calculations, reviewing and approving functional VIPs Track and maintain various R financial metrics to identify trends for Project Investment Board (PIB) and quarterly portfolio meetings Develop and update financial models for inch–up and sustaining related projects What we're looking for: Minimal qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Four to six years of financial analysis, planning, and business support experience Prior experience in a medium to large company Must be able to work well in a complex, highly–matrixed worldwide organization and be able to simplify that matrix for reporting and analytical purposes The successful candidate will exhibit the following skills: Be proactive, a self–starter, results–oriented, and a team player. Wants to be challenged. Ability to work in a fast–paced, demanding environment. Ability to multi–task. Very strong financial analysis skills. Attention to detail a must. Hyperion, SmartView, and SAP a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong process and time management skills. Preferred qualifications: MBA/Masters' degree and/or CPA a plus Manufacturing and project accounting experience a plus.
