Make a Difference.Senior Financial AnalystOverview of Position Change Healthcare is seeking a Sr. Financial Analysts who will be responsible for supporting the financial planning and analysis activities for the business they support within Change Healthcare. What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job? Month Close Activities – Review financial data and produce monthly reports, which include key metrics and variance reporting for ELT and BOD Financial Analysis – Analyze and communicate the key metrics and drivers against history, budget, forecast, and strategic plan. Planning & Forecasting – Support the financial planning activities in a manner that yields challenging, but achievable, strategic plans, budgets and forecasts and provides clear understanding of requirements and results. Partnership – Collaborate with cross functional teams such as Sales Ops, Business Units and Corporate Finance to review financial information, plan, and forecasts Modeling – Develop and maintain various financial models used to support decision making. Special Projects – Carry out special projects as required Month Close Activities – Partner with Sales Ops and BU teams to gather bookings actuals and forecast numbers for the month close reporting files. Review and advise Leadership on forecast results based on a thorough knowledge of the targets, history, metrics, resources, and initiatives at the business unit levels. Utilize financial systems (TM1/PAX, Workday, SAP, and Oracle) to consolidate and report on plans and forecasts. Financial Analysis – Analyze Results – Analyze the key drivers and metrics vs historical performance, budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans and communicate results to leadership for decision support, plan reviews and operational reviews. Process Improvement – Suggest & drive process improvement initiatives related to any planning, reporting or analytic process. Planning & Forecasting – Review and advise Leadership on budget and forecast results based on a thorough knowledge of the targets, history, metrics, resources, and initiatives at the business unit levels. Utilize financial systems (TM1/PAX, Workday, SAP, and Oracle) to consolidate and report on plans and forecasts . Strategic Planning & Budget – Support the creation and implementation of the process and tools that drive the delivery and review of a timely, relevant and accurate strategic plan and budget that is challenging and achievable, based on market conditions, resources, specific business initiatives, and consistent with senior management and corporate expectations; Forecast – Support the creation and implementation of the process and tools that drive the delivery and review of a timely, relevant and accurate forecast that is challenging and achievable, based on market conditions, resources, specific business initiatives, and consistent with senior management and corporate expectations. Modeling – Maintain and develop various financial models used during the planning processes and to support decision making by executive leadership, ensuring quality, accuracy, and focused analytic review Special Projects – This position is expected to possess the skills and initiative to carry out special financial planning and/or analysis of projects of varying nature and complexity with limited supervision by clarifying objectives and assumptions or making appropriate judgments where necessary. This may include analysis of financial metrics, process improvement initiatives, etc. What are the requirements needed for this position? Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance or Business. MBA a plus 3–5 years progressive experience in financial planning, business development, or analysisModeling – Ability to create financial models for ad–hoc reporting and working with large volumes of dataAdvanced Excel skills requiredExcellent communication skills, including written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills.What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?Working knowledge of BI tools such as Spotfire, Oracle, TM1/Planning Analytics and other reporting and planning/analysis applications highly desirableHealthcare industry experience a plusStrong proficiency in PowerPoint and other MS Office applications.Ability to summarize and present transaction volume/trends to managementStrong interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with all levels of the organizationWhat are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?
