We currently have an open position in our Supervision, Regulation and Credit department for a Financial Analyst in our Community and Regional Supervision area. This critical role supports our examination and inspection area and involves working closely with our supervision staff and representatives from the institutions we supervise.As a Financial Analyst you will have a variety of responsibilities including: Provide analytical support for simple to moderate financial, business, and budget projects. Utilize PC–based systems and software to prepare reports, graphs, and charts. Maintain procedure and control manuals for department users. Assist in or conduct the documentation of simple to moderate financial, business, and budget projects. Extract, sort and categorize database output for end–users. Coordinate with supervised institution personnel and examination staff to obtain information for upcoming examinations or inspections. Administer, assign, process, and track data inputs into local and supervisory databases. Obtain, process, and support financial institution data files to support the supervisory function. Requirements: Bachelor's degree. Preferred degree in accounting, finances or related field 0 to 2 years of financial analysis, or related experience. Proficiency with MS Office suite and Skill in using Excel (creating and managing spreadsheets) and Adobe Acrobat (editing documents). Ability to quickly learn to use web–based IT applications. Solid verbal and written communication skills, including communicating across business lines.The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System mandates individuals authorized to access banking supervision and regulation confidential information (CSI) must be "Protected Individuals", which covers three categories of persons: U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other non–citizens who are eligible for U.S. citizenship and are seeking such citizenship. This position is authorized to access CSI and as such requires the incumbent to be a Protected Individual.
