Applicants should be able to reflect the following skills and experience in their CVs:

1.Long term project/programme/change management experience (ideally: 10 years or more)

2.Delivered change in an insurance (or banking) environment such as IFRS / Solvency II / business change / transformation / valuation model development / target operating model / process engineering

3.Set up project governance, management and reporting

4.Managed delivery without need for close monitoring by client/superiors

5.Worked with senior actuaries and senior accountants

6.Developed business cases and plans for insurers

7.Managed multiple work-streams (e.g. finance, actuarial, legal, operations, IT etc.)

8.Resolution of conflicting priorities amongst senior stakeholders

Desirable skills and experience

The best CVs would demonstrate:

1.Undertaken work that involved regulatory change or communication with regulators (in financial services)

2.5 years or more experience of insurance projects (or banking business-change)

3.Directly managed actuarial projects

4.Empowerment of decision-making to the right stakeholders

5.Turned round failing projects or programmes

6.Worked on projects that involved multiple jurisdictions / countries / cultures

7.Vendor management

8.Evidence of delivering outcomes, rather than just deliverables
