Practice Accountant

Practice Accountant Up to £32k, Depending on Experience Full Time, Permanent Position!

Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Practice Accountant to join one our top Chartered Accountancy Practice's based on the outskirts of Portsmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join a successful and innovative team.

The Role:

Part of a leading brand specialising in Accounting/Tax solutions for Contractors and owner managed SMEs
Preparing Company Accounts and Tax Returns
Manage Client Accountants
Providing support for more complex accounting items
Assisting with the process development plans within the company
Providing Management with reporting data and KPI feedback
Completing internal reviews of Company Accounts and Tax returns
Providing accounting advice to clients
Reporting internally with the statistics of reviews completed
Delivering feedback to Client Accountants on the review outcomes
Preparing terms and quotes for potential clients
Recording all activities on the internal database, and all correspondence with clients
Investigating and reporting any complaints relating to accounting items

The Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience within a similar role
Experience within a practice environment
ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified
Experience with FRS105/FRS102 (desirable)
Strong communication skills; written and verbal
Ability to investigate and resolve complaints
Must have good attention to detail
Must be able to manage and prioritise workload
