Staff Auditor position is the entry level position within Internal Audit Department. The position is responsible for working with team of internal audit staff in performing audits and reviews throughout the corporation. This job provides lots of challenges and involves travel to banking and non-banking locations on a routine basis.

The Staff Auditor position is responsible for performing internal audits and reviews at the direction of the Director of Internal Audit in a team environment.

This position maintains independence and participates in testing effectiveness of key financial & IT controls as part of SOX 404 certification process. The Staff Auditor makes internal audit recommendations and performs validation to ensure implementation of the recommendations meet the audit requirements.

  • Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in Accounting and/or Finance.
  • Certifications such as CPA, CBA, and CISA, CTA and CIA or pursuing such certifications are preferred.
  • Prior banking knowledge as an intern is also preferred.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal are required.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret various financial reports and documents is required.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and writing skills are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications is required.
