Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Support category managers and procurement specialists on all purchasing activities and strategy execution.
- Provide deep analytical support in the following.
- Developing spend profile
- RFIs and RFPs
- Supplier proposals and supplier negotiations
- Provide customer support and follow up. Work with the business to develop scope of work and bid documents for RFPs.
- Perform research and specialist projects as needed. This includes working with category managers to identify new suppliers to include in RFPs, new technologies/products/processes, and general research.
- Lead the strategic sourcing analysis efforts within categories.
- Support the implementation of cost reduction initiatives.
- Support Procurement in working to identify future sourcing opportunities.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years' experience in procurement, finance, accounting, and/or supply chain management.
- Experience with strategic sourcing, supplier management, negotiation, and category management is a plus.
- Expert-level financial, quantitative, and analytical skills.
- Spend analytics skills.
- Expert-level experience with Microsoft Excel and ability to leverage where necessary other reporting and analysis tools.
- Experience with SQL and extracting data from structured data sources.
- Experience with one or more enterprise procurement systems a plus.
