Robert Half Finance and Accounting is seeking an Account Associate/Bookkeeper for a full-time employment opportunity to place with one of their clients. We are in need of organized and self-driven accounting professionals for a new position. You will thrive in this role if you are able to work with minimal supervision under tight deadlines. The accounts receivable, month-end closing, accounts payable, and reconciliation will need to be regulated in this Bookkeeper role. How you will make an impact:
-This position provides bookkeeping and portfolio data entry for clients. Bookkeeping responsibilities primarily consist of accounts payable and payroll as well as bank account reconciliation and reporting. Portfolio data entry is performed utilizing specialized software. Interaction with clients is required.

-Processing of accounts payable for clients.
-Monthly or quarterly client report preparation including completion of bank account reconciliation's.
-Preparation of paychecks and periodic payroll reports.
-General ledger account maintenance of client's activities and maintain client files.
-Completion of special projects at direction of client and/or management.

- 2 year degree in Accounting and/or minimum of 5 years in the accounting/bookkeeping field.
- Knowledge of general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and bank account reconciliation procedures.
- QuickBooks and Excel experience preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills as well as organizational skills with excellent attention to detail a must.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
