Job Description

Are you looking for a new Business Analyst challenge? Broadridge is seeking a Business Analyst in our Edgewood office for a contracting position (this role will be remote until Jan 2021). In this role, you will support the testing for tax service projects. This includes planning, documentation, reading documentation, translation of materials and writing test conditions.

Having a strong SQL background is a must! The team is able to train you on the databases for running queries, but prior experience is helpful. This is a strong hybrid role where you and the team won't only work with the technical specifications, but also the business side. In this position, we will review and understand the requirements behind development of large, medium and small software systems and processes. We will build, document and execute test plans that ensure all parts of the system or process work accurately prior to implementation. Being able to take on-the-job training and become proficient in the use and manipulation of automated file review processes will be a meaningful piece of this role. Other tasks will include; detailing system deficiencies and track them until fixed. Providing status reports that summarize projects in flight, completed, fixed, awaiting fixes, etc. Periodically reviewing Production system/process output to ensure compliance with original requirements. Participating in mapping and testing of Informatica tables in conjunction with Greenplum technology, Relational data tables (greenplum or sql server).

Qualifications

  • Strong SQL background
  • Demonstrable experience with testing and business Data analysis, querying and database QA experience
  • Previous experience acting as a user acceptance test group (UAT Group)
  • Must have tax, brokerage, and product experience
