CHA Consulting, Inc, is currently seeking Project Accountants to join our Infrastructure Finance group in our Colonie, NY and Indianapolis, IN offices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Project Accountant at CHA is a key position on our Finance team! The Project Accountant oversees billings and collection efforts for their assigned business sector as well as ensuring accurate completion and timely submission to the client(s). CHA's Project Accountant is also responsible for properly setting up projects and accurate revenue recognition. By operating in this capacity, the Project Accountant plays a critical role supporting the flow of incoming revenue generated by the business.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 2 years of accounting and/or invoicing experience required.
- Experience with Deltek Vision or comparable Enterprise accounting system highly preferred.
- Previous work experience in a professional services organization or related field a plus.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences.
EDUCATION AND LICENSURE
- Associates degree required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
