Finance|Business Analyst Job Description: Senior Business Analyst - A senior Business Analyst (BA) with system implementation experiences in the areas of Accounting/General Ledger to lead business analysis and BA centric project management activities in support of critical planning and execution of project deliverables. Business description: The Trade Finance Group delivers automation and process re-engineering projects. These projects facilitate consistent financial reporting, mitigate and manage risks, improve financial controls, automate regulatory and management reporting, and perform transactional processing and general ledger posting. Job Purpose: A senior business analyst with experience in financial systems and balance sheet reporting functions. The candidate should possess system implementation, and/or process re-engineering experiences. The analyst will be responsible for business analysis, testing, and project management in support of critical planning and execution of project deliverables. Activities will include communication and planning, process modeling, data analysis, business and functional requirements documentation, test specification, planning, coordination and execution. Provide liaison services between functional user and technical systems groups in the development or modification of typically complex information systems. Lead in definition of user business requirements and assure they are appropriately addressed in application implementation. Redefine business processes to maximize application usage as required. Key Responsibilities / Day-to-Day Activities: • Work with Controllers to identify requirements and be responsible for Business Requirement Documents (BRD's), using use cases, workflow, screen mock-ups, and relevant models. • Analyze current business and system processes for potential areas of improvement. • Coordinate with business and technology partners to get feedback and sign off's. • Oversee and steer functional requirements process with technology partners. • Oversee and write test scenarios and drive UAT planning and implementation. • Coordinate and provide analysis and interpretation of UAT results. • Plan and develop cost analysis, design considerations, and implementation timelines.
