Description

Caterpillaris seeking an experienced finance professional for the Electric PowerDivision. As a business project consultant, you will coordinate theplanning, design, and implementation of a financial reporting and analysistransformation project for the division.

JobDuties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Responsiblefor coordinating division financial reporting and analysis transformationproject:
  • Coordinatingproject implementation with overall Energy & Transportation organization
  • Leadingdivisional project implementation across multiple businesses across a globalorganization
  • Planning projectscope and implementation of strategy across division
  • Design andimplement full package of financial reporting tools across various divisionalreporting levels
  • Drive processefficiencies and mechanization throughout organization structure
  • Deliver on keymilestones and project go live deadlines
  • Develop androllout training materials across organization
  • Design andimplementation of comprehensive Executive visualization package
  • Timely projectcommunication to key project stakeholders, including Division CFO
  • Various otherdivisional consolidations activities

Qualifications

BasicQualifications:
  • Bachelor's leveldegree in Accounting; Non-Accounting degree requires 18 hours of coreaccounting courses or approved certification (CPA/CMA)
  • 4-6 years ofaccounting related experience

TopCandidates Will Also Have:
  • Prior experiencewith Axiom and Alteryx reporting tools
  • Designproficiency with advanced reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Deep knowledgeof Caterpillar's O&E Model, Enterprise Reporting, and analysis toolkit
  • Deepunderstanding of Caterpillar financial systems and transactional ledger details
  • Prior FP&Aexperience
  • Comprehensiveknowledge of Caterpillar Energy & Transportation business
  • Proven record ofsuccess and accomplishments at lower levels
  • High level ofinitiative, leadership, and good judgment
  • Superiorcommunication skills
  • Stronganalytical, process improvement, problem solving skills
  • Strong humanrelations skills

AdditionalInformation:

Thisposition will initially be located in Peoria, Houston, or have the ability to work remotely from anywhere within the UnitedStates at the leader's discretion.
