About this Position

The Business Analyst 2 will act as a liaison between the business units, management, and IT staff. The incumbent is responsible for developing detailed business requirements, outlining solutions, writing test plans, and leading user acceptance and post-production testing for projects in the Primerica Securities Operations department. The Business Analyst 2 assumes responsibility for maintaining the timelines of assigned projects and keeping management and the business unit informed on progress. The incumbent will need to be able to operate in many different applications including but not limited to MS Office, web applications, SaaS systems, SQL, and IBM Mainframe. Organization and attention to detail will be critical in this role.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience
  • Three to five years analysis, quality control, information systems, or similar experience
  • Two years experience as Business Systems Analyst or equivalent business and technical experience preferred
  • Ability to manage people and projects
  • Ability to fully cross-train in all Securities team functions
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work varying hours as needed
  • Math aptitude and basic accounting skills
  • Ability to work with programmers, coordinators, technical support staff, clerical staff, management of internal and external departments; as well as vendors
  • Strong communication skills including presentations
  • Ability to work with extreme time sensitivity
  • Strong analytical aptitude
