What You'll Do

TheWage Audit Specialistfunctions as the state expert for screeningfraud and wage auditsand responding to state documents for our clients.This position acts as a liaison between our customers and state unemployment agencies and is responsible for analyzing and responding to unemployment-related documents within pre-determined time limits. The Wage Audit Specialist also has clerical responsibilities to include, but not limited to the filing, photo copying, sorting and distribution of documents as they are received into their area;sorting, organizing, matching and distributing system-generated notices to the appropriate individual; matching system-generated letters to the appropriate state-issued document and distributing those documents to the appropriate individual; assisting with adding emailed information/documentation into thedatabase; and, formatting proactive separation reports for loading into system. This role is not remote.

  • Receive and prioritize fraud and wage audits and other unemployment related data.
  • Analyze individual case information by reviewing data accessed through the PC and respond to a state agency with all pertinent details within the time frame allowed by the state or departmental procedures.
  • Match documents with system-generated letters and tracking sheets.
  • Determine coding and load hard copy and faxed separation forms.
  • The regular work hours for this position are 10:00 am - 7:00 pm, Monday - Friday.


Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous office experience with an emphasis on organization of work duties and performing job functions independently
  • 2-3 weeks of immediate, mandatory and uninterrupted training are required upon hire
  • You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with team members at various levels, including business leaders.
