PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The information systems auditor responsibilities include strategizing and inspecting information processing systems and programs of the company in order to protect the possessions, to make sure that the information stored is right and to promote the work effectiveness of the same. He/she is also known as a computer systems auditor who creates and administers the platform developed to save delicate, private and secret information of the company. Information Technology (IT) Auditors help organizations by protecting their internal controls and data within their technology system. They safeguard sensitive information by identifying weaknesses in a system's network and creating strategies to prevent any security breaches in the technology.

Requirements

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Studying and examining the program systems and their trade principles in order to estimate and check whether the trade targets of the company are being achieved or not
  • Creating and promoting new systems that have been built in the company to step up the work effectivity
  • Evaluating those areas of the company where systems are installed and making sure that all the safety methods are being adhered to and that the systems of the company are in perfect working order
  • Following-up and examining software and hardware commodities, parts and components that have been bought to make sure that the same will help the company in achieving its targets, aims and objectives
  • Ensuring that the company confines and limits itself within the given monetary funds of information systems
  • Observing and recording the application of computer programs in the company
  • Communicating with information processing administrators and information technology associates who work on the computer systems of the company
  • Formulating documented reports on brand new systems and implementing them, which would really assist in the enhancement of work output of the company
  • Studying, scrutinizing and checking the accounts, audit and software records of the company in order to get a rough idea about the fiscal condition of the same in relation to its executed software and IT business operations
  • Playing the role and duties of an inside examiner of the information systems of the company and assessing its fiscal data
  • Examining the functional and usable data on various computer networks and systems of the company to ensure that the information systems are processed properly, resulting in benefitting the same
  • Completing all other duties, jobs, responsibilities and roles of an information systems auditor in the company, which fall under his/her administrative and supervisory domain and that are assigned


DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • A degree in Information Technology/Computer Information Systems or related
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • 3-5 years of work experience as an IT Auditor
  • Experience with Firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Office 365 Security, VSX and Endpoint Security
  • Financial and IT application experience (SAP, QAD, MFGPro, Peoplesoft and Hyperion)
  • Expert in Firewalls, VPN, Data Loss Prevention, IDS/IPS, Web-Proxy and Security Audits
  • Clear understanding of IT audit methodologies
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills
  • Great awareness of cyber security trends and hacking techniques
