OVERVIEW

This position is part of the Global Support Delivery Finance team. This team is responsible for overall consolidation, forecasting, budgeting and reporting of the business and provides support to the CSS Finance VP and three business SVPs. This role will be actively engaged in all finance processes managed by the team as well as responsible for routine and ad hoc analysis. This position will work closely with other finance team members as well as business partners on the support teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support Delivery FP&A Process Management
    • Ownership of quarterly forecast process including developing the forecast itself in conjunction with business partners as well as GFIC team.
    • Active participant in quarter close process.
    • Ensuring HQ deliverables are met and representing Support Delivery with concise analysis when needed.
    • Drive annual budget process with business partners, developing models as needed and coordinating with GFIC & HQ teams to meet deadlines.
  • Quarterly Reporting
    • Ensure business partners receive insightful and actionable reporting on a regular basis.
    • Assist with determining the appropriate mix of offline & online data availability for the business.
    • Involvement in reporting on operational metrics in addition to financial results. Work closely with business operations to drive meaningful operational reporting across all delivery organizations.
  • Automation Projects
    • Intermediate-level (or greater) user of our standard online tools. Able to advise/train other team members.
    • Participate/Lead efforts to standardize on Oracle tools and systems of record.
    • Work across functional lines to size requirements, manage timelines & resources, drive rollout, and provide training.
  • Partner to Support Delivery Business Operations
    • Develop strong working relationships with Business Ops lead in order to understand key aspects of the Support Delivery business.
    • Partner together to ensure consistent reporting and analysis.
    • Proactively analyze KPIs and flag areas of opportunity/concern to the business.
  • Ad Hoc analysis and requests

CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of experience. MBA preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills a must
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and financial systems skills, Hyperion/Essbase a plus
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to think/work independently
  • Ability to manage processes and identify cross-functional issues
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills


Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Financial support to business areas through financial analysis, budgeting, planning & forecasting; to facilitate decision making and future business strategies.

As a member of Oracle's finance organization, you will be responsible for providing all aspects of financial support for planning and control. Assist in consolidation and reporting of financial results; preparation of annual budget. Gather, model, analyze, prepare, and summarize information for financial plans, operating forecasts, trended future specifications, etc.; on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis. Prepares recommendations based on analyzes. May perform revenue and expense analysis, headcount and headcount driven expense analysis at cost center level, tracking of product and product line revenue, reconciliation of accounts receivable, variance analysis and ad-hoc analysis as needed. You may participate in cross functional programs and projects.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Strong Microsoft Office skills and proficiency in Oracle Financials. Strong analysis and research skills. Ability to partner across functions. 8 years relevant work experience. BS/BA in Accounting/Finance preferred. CPA/MBA desired.
