Kelly is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to work with our client, an industry leader in the construction industry, on a direct hire basis - starting ASAP! The Accounts Payable Specialist will:
- Match invoices to POs and enter invoices into NAV for multiple branches
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Maintain vendor files
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
- Process electronic transfers and payments
- Prepare and perform check runs
- Assist with month-end close duties
- Support the implementation of efficient AP processes
- Reconcile monthly statements with vendors
- Work with vendors to resolve past due invoices and to obtain electronic vendor invoices
- 3+ years of accounts payable experience
- Experience with NAV a plus but not required
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Solid problem solving and organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excitement for change and process improvements
