Kelly is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to work with our client, an industry leader in the construction industry, on a direct hire basis - starting ASAP! The ideal candidate will be someone who embraces change and enjoys identifying process improvements. The Accounts Payable Specialist will:
  • Match invoices to POs and enter invoices into NAV for multiple branches
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
  • Maintain vendor files
  • Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
  • Process electronic transfers and payments
  • Prepare and perform check runs
  • Assist with month-end close duties
  • Support the implementation of efficient AP processes
  • Reconcile monthly statements with vendors
  • Work with vendors to resolve past due invoices and to obtain electronic vendor invoices
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of accounts payable experience
  • Experience with NAV a plus but not required
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid problem solving and organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excitement for change and process improvements
