Financial Auditor - Corporate

Responsibilities:

• Performing audits in various financial and operational areas of the national organization
• Auditors are responsible for examining, evaluating and documenting the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and operating procedures.
• Monitoring of internal controls over financial reporting
• Compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002
• Identify and communicate opportunities to strengthen controls, improve processes, ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, and are often requested to participate as consultants on special project assignments.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 1 - 10 years of Financial Auditing experience with a medium/large corporate organization
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Accounting Information Systems (or very similar)
• Working knowledge of accounting/auditing practices, principles and procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
• Exceptional analytical and organizational skills
• Dependability and attention to detail
• Initiative, professionalism, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA or CIA licensure is desirable, but not required
