Accountant
Company Work Location: New York, NY
Salary: $90,000 - $100,000
Industry Experience Required:
• 2-3 years' experience in Public Accounting (Big 4)
• GPA of 3.5 or higher from college
• CPA is a big plus
Job Responsibilities:
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of fund related invoices
• Review invoices for appropriate documentation, allocations and approvals
• Prepare allocations for fund related expenses using the legal fee application
• Review and upload allocations to accounts payable system and general ledger
• Payments to vendors
• Wires for fund reimbursements
• Upload files and journal entries for fund reimbursements
• Monthly accrual schedules
• Research and respond to:
• External inquiries from law firms and vendors
• Internal inquiries from partners, analysts and attorneys
• Special projects
Additional Information:
• Position is a temp to perm position
• $47.00-$49.00 per hour plus O/T (for temp).
Qualifications
GPA of 3.5 or higher from college
CPA is a big plus
