Handles sales tax, VAT, distributions, retails, e-commerce with multiple divisions accounting and financial aspect.

The Staff Accountant's responsibilities will include assisting the Accounting Manager in preparing month-end close, partnering with multiple departments and divisions to analyze and reconcile accounts. Handles sales tax, VAT, distributions, retails, e-commerce with multiple divisions accounting and financial aspect.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily, monthly and quarterly reports (including but not limited to; commission reports, royalty reports, sales reports, e-commerce sales reports)
- Prepare daily, monthly, and quarterly journal entries and account reconciliations as part of the monthly close process for areas, as assigned
- Prepare materials for internal and external reporting on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
- Prepare various reconciliations and analysis of account activity
- Manage sales tax, VAT, retails and e-commerce activities
- Handles customers return, credit card process, dispute and shipment release
- Assist in AR and AP as needed, including cash and voucher posting, AR and AP reconciliation.
- Provide support for analyses, projects and task as needed and assigned by Accounting Manager and Controller
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field
- 1+ year experience in accounting preferably in similar industries such as manufacturing, distribution, retail or e-commerce,
- Experience with multi state sales tax and/or VAT preferred
- Exceptional analytical and excel skills (pivot table, vlookup)
- Detail oriented with a high sense of urgency
- Strong work ethic and diligent with a "can do" attitude
- Able to work independently as well as collaborative with team and departments
