JOB TITLE: Accounting Auditor

STARTING WAGE: $13.00

MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT: 21 Years Old

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: State of Nevada Gaming Permit.

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for providing accounting and clerical support to accounting department personnel. Verify and input daily revenue amounts in an accurate and timely manner. Assist with month end close process, and other job related duties assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Must be self motivated and able to work in a team environment. Must be able to work in stressful situations to meet specific timelines set by management. Must have strong communication skills and be willing to help others. Must know Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, 10 key. Must be detail oriented and have good organizational skills.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Assume responsibility for verifying and entering information into database systems on a daily basis.

2. Assume responsibility for tracking variances and reporting such to management.

3. Prepare daily worksheets for use in uploading and posting journal entries.

4. Other job related duties as assigned and instructed by management.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the majority of work at a desk. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying items such as reams of papers, books, and occasionally lifting moderately heavy office record boxes up to 40 lbs. In addition, this job requires general office cleaning duties, including but not limited to vacuuming, mopping and garbage removal up to 20 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts requiring normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, libraries, and residences or commercial vehicles, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls. Observance of fire regulations, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.
