We are recruiting for a Senior Tax Accountant with a reputable firm in West LA.
This role will be responsible for providing the highest levels of client service working with Staff Accountants, Managers and Partners as well as interacting with clients in a range of markets and industries.

This role will be responsible for providing the highest levels of client service working with Staff Accountants, Managers and Partners as well as interacting with clients in a range of markets and industries.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare complex high net worth individual income tax returns, projections, complex partnership and corporate returns
- Prepare complex family-owned businesses, high net worth individuals and families and the trusts, estates and companies that generate their income and wealth transfer issue between generations income tax returns, including related schedules and forms.
- Research issues involved in federal, state and local tax planning projects
- Deal with the IRS, state and local authorities, representation of clients at audits
- Review and maintain budgets
- Keep partners updated about the status of the engagement
- Maintain client relations
- Supervise work of staff accountants
- Visit potential client sites for business proposals
Requirements: - Undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting or other business-related areas
- CPA, MS in Taxation and/or LLM preferred
- 3+ years of recent experience working in the Tax Department of a quality CPA Firm
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work in a paperless environment
- Ability to manage jobs to meet deadlines and budgetary constraint
- Willingness to learn and be a team player, with dedication to 5-star quality service clients and willingness to deliver it
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build strong working relationships with clients
- Pursuit of CPA or EA required
