Job Description

Texas A&M University - Texarkana is seeking to find outstanding candidates for our Part-time Graduate Adjunct Instructor of Accounting for our Spring/Summer Sessions. This position will pay $5,000 per course for each undergraduate section taught per semester. This position can be taught online or at the main campus. Questions in regards to the position should be directed to the College of Business, Engineering, and Technology.

Preferred Education and Experience: Doctoral Degree in Business Accounting from an accredited institution. The candidate may also have a master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in accounting.

Preferred Licenses, Certifications, or Registrations: CPA

Preferred Special Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills: Blackboard

Recommended training: Quality Matters Training & Web for Students

Duties: Required to teach general business course(s) in a face-to-face, web-enhanced, or web-based format during an eight week or sixteen-week format. Must also coordinate all course administrative duties such as but not limited to: grading student work, loading all course content such as assessments and lecture modules, meeting with students, submitting grades in a timely manner to students, meeting census and grade deadlines to registrar's office, and meeting additional administrative duties as needed in online courses.
