We are currently accepting applications for a full time Staff Accountant. This position will primarily be responsible for Accounts Payable, bank and credit card reconciliation, general ledger management, fixed asset management, financial statement preparation and provide payroll back up. We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field of study and 1 to 3 years of experience. Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

Position Description

POSITION GOAL: The Staff Accountant is a team member who assists the CFO with various accounting processes. These processes include month end closing including bank account reconciliation, general ledger management, fixed asset management, journal entries, and financial statement preparation. The Staff Accountant will also process accounts payable invoices and assist with payroll.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field of study required. 1 - 3 years experience desired. Efficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook a must.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific or technical journal, financial reports and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or concerns from residents, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of practical problems.

COMPUTER OPERATIONS: Proficient personal computer skills including e-mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheets and graphics.
