- CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.

- Will consider assurance candidate as long candidate has technical accounting experience, would prefer technical accounting practice.
Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
- 3 to 6 years of audit/accounting advisory experience, with progressive responsibility in technical accounting.
- Knowledge and solid experience with FASB and SEC guidance and related financial disclosures for a public company.
- High technical aptitude with Microsoft Office Suite.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct research on accounting literature pertaining to new business initiatives, contracts and/or transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of detailed accounting memos documenting conclusions reached from accounting research.
- Analyze new accounting pronouncements to determine their impact on the Company's financial statements and assist with their implementation.
- Assist in the development, documentation and maintenance of financial policies and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of accounting disclosures included in periodic forms filed with the SEC (Forms 10-Q, 10-K and 8-K).
- Support overall internal controls compliance for areas of responsibility, including communication and interaction with internal and external auditors.
- Work cross-functionally with finance, legal and other business partners to understand activities to identify and evaluate accounting impact of transactions, as well as support financial forecasting for such activities.
- Assist with ad hoc projects as requested and prepare responses to various requests for information.
