CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.

Will consider assurance candidate as long candidate has technical accounting experience, would prefer technical accounting practice.

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
3 to 6 years of audit/accounting advisory experience, with progressive responsibility in technical accounting.
Knowledge and solid experience with FASB and SEC guidance and related financial disclosures for a public company.
High technical aptitude with Microsoft Office Suite.

Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct research on accounting literature pertaining to new business initiatives, contracts and/or transactions.
Assist in the preparation of detailed accounting memos documenting conclusions reached from accounting research.
Analyze new accounting pronouncements to determine their impact on the Company's financial statements and assist with their implementation.
Assist in the development, documentation and maintenance of financial policies and procedures.
Assist in the preparation of accounting disclosures included in periodic forms filed with the SEC (Forms 10-Q, 10-K and 8-K).
Support overall internal controls compliance for areas of responsibility, including communication and interaction with internal and external auditors.
Work cross-functionally with finance, legal and other business partners to understand activities to identify and evaluate accounting impact of transactions, as well as support financial forecasting for such activities.
Assist with ad hoc projects as requested and prepare responses to various requests for information.
