Location: Alexandria, VA (fully remote capabilities)

Position Overview:

Swingtech Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst for an existing DoD Contract. The BA will be responsible for bridging the gap between IT and the business using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders. General knowledge of system software development lifecycles, including requirements generation, design, code, verification and test, systems integration, maintenance, and support as it relates to an AGILE process/workflow.

Responsibilities

• Conduct business needs analysis to identify customer needs/requirements.
• Utilize appropriate business analysis techniques: models of processes and structures, user interface prototypes, use cases, etc.
• Create requirement documents such as Business Requirement Document (BRD), Use-cases, user stories, or any other artifact needed for a project.
• Support project teams during the analysis and planning stages of software development.
• Act as a liaison between the business units and the IT Division, communicating with stakeholders, developers, and customers.
• Analyze and evaluate current business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, monitor deliverables, and implement solutions.
• Attend/lead project team and customer meetings. Documents meeting minutes and follow-up on action items as needed.
• Manage project documentation; create wire-framing, workflows, design models, mockup presentations, and reference/training materials.
• Create complete and accurate status reports, dashboards, metrics and tracking reports as required.
• Organize and lead user acceptance testing. Coordinate test efforts for post-sprint testing, UAT, regression testing, etc.
• Conduct research for compatible products that meets customer's functional specifications.
• Perform data analysis, data mapping, data migration of service forms and processes to enable migration to enterprise platform.

Requirements:

• Have 6 plus years' experience as a Business Analyst on IT projects.
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
• Active Secret clearance
• Have Agile project management experience or a high degree of familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Be familiar with project management tools, including Microsoft Project and Jira.
• SAfe and Scrum master certifications preferred.
• Have experience providing customer support.
• Have strong written and oral communication skills.

• Have a strong sense of organization and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Be able to facilitate requirements meetings and software demonstrations.
• Experience with ServiceNow Portfolio Management
• Experience with stakeholder engagement and facilitation
