Job Description
Finance is an integral part of Shopee's business and is a critical function as we enter the next phase of growth. This is a regional role which requires working closely with all 7 countries. You will work alongside other business functions, supporting and advising their strategic and operational decision-making through insights that drive better business performance.

Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities to improve working processes with the local Finance teams, propose solutions and drive implementation
- Provide full range of finance advisory, including financial reporting, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, contract review and other ad hoc requests
- Support business leaders with decision making from Finance perspective with solid data and analysis
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with a variety of different stakeholders, including functional leaders, process owners and the management team
- Identify business/financial issues and propose action plans
Skill Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Business/Accountancy - In depth understanding of Accounting principles
- 4 years prior experience working in a Finance function - Knowledge in Finance processes and systems
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills - Ability to draw insights from complex data and design practical and scalable solutions
- Solid written and verbal communication - Ability to liaise with people at all levels
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
