Business Function

Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analyses that help the bank make sound business decisions - whether in the areas of product development or customer profitability. We also provide capital management, business planning, forecasting, and tax and accounting advisory services.

Responsibilities

o Perform the following Daily deliverables:

• Daily PL report production and PLdecomposition

• Provide commentary on significant PL driversand relating it to the business strategies of the desks

• Monitoring of New Deals, Late Deals andMarket Operations

• Monitoring checks for transactions done atOff Market rates and arrive at justifications/reasons for entering thesetransactions

• Exceptions monitoring on Reported PL vsTrader Estimates and breaches on threshold limits for unexplained PLattributions

o Perform the following Monthly routine tasks:

• Reconciliation of PL between Management reportingvs General Ledger

• GLAO certification on Balance Sheet accounts

• Room wide & Desk level Reservescomputation

• Significant MTD PL drivers

• Reporting of Key Risk and PerformanceIndicators for Interest Rate Derivatives/ Credit Derivatives desks

o Perform the following Ad-Hoc & Projectstasks:

• Streamline workflows to enhance operationalefficiency within the team

• Review control processes for gaps

• To be proficient in handling ad-hoc queriesfrom Front Office/RMG/TMO/Finance

• To assist in responding to internal andexternal audit requests for Credit/Commo desk.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Accountancy or Business orFinance is preferred

• Minimum 1-2 years experience in Banking Financeor Product Control function

• Knowledge of derivatives and options ispreferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly MicrosoftExcel

• Strong team player

• Strong control awareness and inquisitive mindset

• Ability to relate product control processeswith the business strategies and activities of the desk
