Kimberly-Clark is looking for a highly motivated professional with a track record of delivering results and driving projects to successful completion. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who is highly organized and has hands-on experience identifying and reviewing financial, compliance, and operational risks in business processes, evaluating the design of internal controls, and executing audits to assess the effectiveness of processes and controls.

The Associate Internal Auditorwill review and determine the reliability of internal controls, assist with various departmental projects and ensure compliance with Corporate and Legal guidelines. This dynamic position requires working with personnel across all functions of Kimberly-Clark and at all levels of responsibility.

The Associate Internal Auditor role is expected to perform a full range of audits and investigations, including financial, compliance and operational audits of Kimberly-Clark Corporation.

  • Executes audit activities and project roles under direction of lead auditors
  • Contributes to engagement risk assessments under supervision
  • Provides clear, sufficient and well-written evidence to support work, issues and recommendations
  • Prepares issues and recommendations to specific standards for inclusion in the audit report
  • Cultivates positive relationships and builds effective working relationships with auditees and co-workers
  • Recognizes issues, problems or opportunities and determines whether action is needed
  • Identify and recommend audit approaches and tools to use during the course of an audit
  • Proactively seeks and embraces formal and informal peer coaching opportunities
  • Identifies opportunities to implement continuous monitoring and analytically based auditing procedures

    Job Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree with a major/minor in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of public accounting and/or private industry audit experience with knowledge of accounting, finance and internal control areas
  • Professional certification (CIA, CISA, CPA or equivalent) or working towards certification
  • Self-motivated and demonstrates initiative, innovation and drive for results
  • Forensic mindset with basic knowledge and understanding of data analytics and related tools (e.g., ACL, Access)
  • Ability to apply analytical and interpretive skills to problem solving. Detail oriented
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of various techniques to identify the root cause of a problem
  • Dedication to teamwork and leadership
  • Integrity within professional environment
  • Communicates professionally in all forms, with ability to effectively present to peers and management
  • Ability to travel up to 35+%, both domestic and international

    Preferred capabilities:
  • Working knowledge of SAP and CCH TeamMate Audit Management Software
  • Prior manufacturing and/or consumer products industry experience
  • Language skills
  • Advanced Degree
