In this role as Accountant (Contract) your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;
  • Under supervision, contribute to the financial transactions and/or management reports and
  • Review statistics reflecting earnings, profits, cash balances and other financial results
  • Ensure compliance with approved accounting standards
  • Handles several full sets of accounts including REIT and MCST accounts, provide variance analysis and working
  • Perform month-end account closing activities and reconciliations
  • Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries for accruals and variances
  • Ensure timely financial & monthly management reporting. •
  • Perform accounting analyses and reporting to support decision-making purposes
  • Update of turnover rent schedule and sales analysis on monthly and quarterly basis
  • Prepared cash flow projection and work with transaction team to prepare fund transfer
  • Assist with the preparation of quarterly asset review report
  • Ensure the completion of the GST with accuracy and filing on a timely basis
  • Prepared property tax rental schedule and update payment schedule, objection status for the relevant properties. Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Preparing of Audit schedule, liaise with auditors, tax agents for statutory reporting and compliance of tax filing respectively.
  • Work closely with Fund finance to attend to IRAS tax queries and tax filing as and when required. •
  • Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the management


To be a success in this role it is desirable, but not essential to have;
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business or Commerce with a major or sub major in Accounting and/or Finance.
  • May have experience and/or fundamental knowledge of general accounting and/or financial reporting and applicable legislations.
  • Good analytical and communication skills with the ability to interpret financial information.
  • Problem Solving and Analytical Thinking, Technology and Process, Verbal Communication, Written Communication.
