About Team
The Finance Manager will partner with business unit leaders and key stakeholders in developing, maintaining, and promoting a prudent financial approach and philosophy that ensures the sustainability of TLBG's business in the long-term while consistently achieving the mandates of the annual business and strategic plans.
You will also oversee daily accounting operations, controlling and verifying financial transactions, and directly managing F&B and/or hospitality concepts assigned to your care.

The successful candidate should have/be: • Track record of delivering results as a leader / manager • Ability to translate strategic direction into actionable plans and initiatives • Articulate; effective in verbal and written communication • Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and process-thinking skills • Initiative and drive to continually improve teams and organizations • Strong sense of ownership and responsibility • Expertise in Power Point, Excel, and Word • Accounting qualifications (CA, ACCA, CPA) are a plus • Prior experience in the big 4 audit companies and/or f&b / hospitality industry is a plus • Prior experience with ERP systems is a plus

Team management
- Provide guidance to the team, oversee daily accounting operations for full set of accounts, and ensure the month/year-end closing is completed
- Train and guide new accountants and finance executives on TLBG's protocols and accounting standards
- Maintain the team's morale and align the team's ambition and motivation with TLBG's growth
- Demonstrate care for team members and uphold TLBG's people-centric culture
Finance & Accounting
- Monthly financial reporting and internal control assessment, and reconciliation of account balances and bank statements while maintaining general ledger
- Monthly generation of management accounts
- Disseminate management accounts to stakeholders and broadcast financials to Board of Directors monthly, quarterly results
- Cash flow management and projection
- Liaise with external auditor/tax agents/authorities for audit and corporate tax matters, handle tax preparation for submission of annual corporate returns and quarterly GST returns, or government grant matters
- Assist in membership financial management including billing and collections, including addressing member's billing queries
Business Partnering & Financial Planning & Analysis
- Partner with Head of Concepts and Departments in aspect of financial management
- Lead and manage group-wide financial budgeting and forecasting
- Provide sound analysis and business intelligence to evaluate the business and design approaches to innovate, improve productivity and effectiveness
- Formulate long-term business plan for sustainable business growth and profit,
Financial Control & Compliance
- Continually improve financial management process by reviewing and enhancing internal processes for better reporting, control and governance
- Support the CFO and Finance Director in the development, maintenance and revision of policies, procedures, and statutory standards for the general operation and its related activities to prevent malpractices
- Perform random compliance and financial audits of cash handling, collections and/or payments with a focus upon accuracy, proper documentation and timeliness of these activities
- Lead/support internal investigation and propose preventive measures
