Department Overview

The APAC Technology and Change organization is responsible for the engineering and support of technology solutions, implementation of change programs, and the associated change, design and data governance for the APAC Division. The organization includes APAC Trade Management (TM) IT.

The successful candidate will work as a Business Analyst for Front Office Risk management systems based out of India.

Key deliverables & responsibilities are :-
  • Liaising with regional business partners, eliciting detailed functional specifications from demanding business stakeholders and working iteratively with developers to deliver the end solution.
  • Understanding Front to Back risk management application data flows and drive critical regulatory / migration projects.
  • Managing projects by creating project plans, coordinating tasks among various IT teams, and tracking progress.
  • Acting as the regional representative for Risk projects & initiatives, this candidate must work with key front office personnel in identifying, summarizing and reporting status on major projects, book migrations & initiatives.
  • Assisting in Functional testing for application releases.
  • Ensuring documentation is up to date and do periodic checks to ensure controls remain in force.


You Offer
  • Excellent understanding of financial products especially derivatives (equities & fixed income)
  • Must have at least 5 years' experience working in the front office risk management systems space
  • Good knowledge of the financial product lifecycle, understand Pricing, Risk and PnL Attribution from a Front Office perspective
  • Experience interacting with traders, product controllers, risk managers, IT development and other IT teams
  • Demonstrate the ability to analyze and understand complex problems and underlying business concepts, make sound decisions/recommendations, and communicate solutions in a proactive manner.
  • Project management experience is a must
  • Experience working on large scale migration projects (legacy to strategic systems) is a plus
  • Strong MS Excel & SQL skills is a must
  • Should be a self-starter, motivated, with aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Result oriented, dedicated, hardworking who can work on own initiative whilst working collaboratively and can deliver on time with a high level of integrity and flexibility, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards
