Key areas of responsibility
As a Platform Specialist
- Accountable that the solutions design/ technology meets the functional requirements specified by the Business Analyst.
- Accountable that solution design meets platform architecture Principles. Provide feedback to architecture community on architecture and design.
- Ensures that solution across platforms is in line with the design and development guidelines.
- Accountable that deliverables meet quality requirements as specified by the relevant quality system.
- Approves the content of the release prior to release and manages interrelation aspects with other applications.
- Provide guidance to development team in performing build automation and configuration management
- Supports the Delivery Manager in validating estimations of our partners, and timely provision of technical environments.
- Supports Business Analyst, Scrum Master and Delivery Manager on managing, tracking, and forecasting of solution development.
- Coaches technical leads and developers.
- Provides escalation support to the partners for complex issues.
- Contributes to overall scrum team goals and objectives.
- Leading in detailing out high level solution guidelines in to solution designs
- Works closely with independent test partner to validate test planning and test execution.
- Responsible for Software Quality, working closely with Test Factory on Code & Configuration Analysis
Requirements
- OG Certified at Master level or proven track record in business requirements management and high level solution design in relevant domain.
- Proven knowledge of business process and its KPI's.
- Knowledge of industry best practices to support relevant business processes.
- Required competences and levels:
- IT Competences: Business Process / Change Management, Account Management, Application and solution design
- Experience within Healthcare or knowledge on SOX, Compliance and / or FDA preferred
Domain Specific Details
Domain specific details for IT Platform Specialist:
- Extensive knowledge in the following processes:
- Advise Philips business partners and project managers on MDM
- Should understand the basic business processes and MDM within Philips kernels
- Domain 360 View (example: MDM Customer 360) experience
- Knowledge of the components and its related functionality
within the MDM landscape
- Promote resolution of business requirements through Philips standard functionality
- Good experience on MDM tools
- Experience in Solution Architecture in multiple domains.
- Experience on how MDM can be integrated with other tools with / without Integration
- Informatica Meta Data Manager or similar experience
- Experience w/ Informatica Cloud Platform and Informatica Cloud connector preferred
- Knowledge of Enterprise Data lifecycle management including Archiving
- Knowledge/experience w/ Enterprise Content management tools (e.g. Open Text) a plus
Education / Experience Required:
- Bachelor / Master degree
- 10+ years of IT experience as a developer/consultant/tech lead/solution architect
- 5 + years of experience in medium/large scale Informatica MDM implementation
- Knowledge / Experience with ETL and data warehousing design
- Proven experience with E2E implementation for Master data domains using variety of MDM tools including IDD, ActiveVOS, IDQ, etc.
- Knowledge of MDM Integration capability with PowerCenter, DIH, SAP, SFDC, etc. required
- Knowledge of MDM concepts and experience with MDM domains including Customer, Vendor, Supplier, Product, Finance using both with out-of-box features and configuration / customization
- Ability to work with virtual multi-disciplinary teams
