Installed Base Services Team is part of GTM Operations. Our focus is supporting the overall deal cycle & the sales organization by preparation, validation & analyses of customer installed base data, and providing quoting & advisory services in line with deal negotiation and closure. We are working closely with Sales & Renewals Sales Teams, along with Deal Management. We have different divisions, responsible for different lines of business - Core Renewals, Entitlement, Renewals Advisory, AirWatch Renewals. - and, ELA (Enterprise License Agreement) business.

As a Business Analyst in the ELA IB team, you will be responsible for managing stakeholders' requests & expectations when it comes to entitlement accounts review & research, install base analyses, customer portal & licensing research & validation , Advisory Queries, as well as standard and ad hoc install base reporting for the EMEA enterprise business.

Job Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the overall deal cycle in the preparation & negotiation phases of an ELA deal. You will be working with the Executive Account Managers, Strategic Renewals Account Managers, Deal Managers & other supporting teams along.

This role includes the following main responsibilities:
  • Providing ongoing and consistent advisory services to the Sales Organization on a customer basis, acting as a trusted partner to the assigned Customer Region
  • Creation, management, delivery and revision of the ELA Quoting process in CPQ ( SFDC ). Adherence to IBS metrics & agreed SLAs.
  • Research and validation of customer's licensing & SaaS and resolution of complex data issues.
  • Escalation and remediation of data challenges with data integrity teams.


You are the perfect candidate for the role if you:
  • 5+ years of experience into ELA Quoting process in CPQ ( SFDC ). Adherence to IBS metrics & agreed SLAs.
  • Understand complex processes, programs and policies and are curious to gain deeper knowledge of the business backgrounds behind them.
  • Are keen to apply your knowledge and experience to on-goingly exceed Customer and Partner's expectations
  • Is curious to on-goingly gain knowledge, deliver improvement & optimization ideas, exceed expectations & grow
  • Have appropriate computer skills and knowledge to manipulate our proprietary database.
  • Are very good with data research & analytics, and keen to find connections & relationships within data researched.
  • Finally, you are a master in communication with internal and external business partners & keen to apply your stakeholder management skills to maximize satisfaction, to better understand the business metrics and backgrounds, and you are open to accurately share relevant data and concerns with peers & management - as appropriate.


Required Skills
  • Proven experience & interest in researching & analyzing complex data.
  • Proven experience sharing & implementing best practices and collaborating with a global team.
  • Knowledge/Exposure to Software sales & renewals life-cycle & CRM systems (Oracle / Salesforce.com / SAP / SDP etc.)
  • Curiosity & Problem-solving skills along with very strong communication skills
  • Analytical skills with strong attention to detail, ability to research and resolve complex issues
  • Ability to prioritize and perform different by nature tasks with minimal direction.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills. Ability to set realistic expectations and timelines & to bear accountability for them.
  • Intermediate to Advanced database and MS - office skills. Ability to learn systems quickly with little or no guidance.
  • Ability to present complex information in a comprehensive manner.


Preferred Skills
  • Working experience in any of the following: Support renewals quoting / new software license quoting / SaaS quoting and/or renewals, deal management or account management experience.
  • Experience supporting and engaging with sales, channel partners, end user customers.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • Oracle Service Contracts & Quoting experience
  • Experience with managing and resolving renewals data challenges
  • Deep understanding of the software industry & renewals processes within it
  • SaaS & CDS knowledge / experience
