About the departmentThe Global Major Incident Management as a unit is part of the Global IT in Novo Nordisk serving more than 42,000 employees worldwide.Major Incident Management has the responsibility of managing the Global Major Incidents across Services, Systems and Infrastructure across various geographies of Novo Nordisk.Major Incident Management have a high managerial focus and high activity level, and we are therefore looking for a skilled Business Analyst in Global IT India who has the drive to excel and passion towards serving business.

Global IT India is an integral part of Global IT unit in our Head Quarters in Denmark responsible for all major IT Projects, Operations management and Systems in Novo Nordisk. Global IT India consists of more than 500 talented IT colleagues and is growing fast.

The PositionAs a business analyst you will be mainly responsible for handling Major Incidents and driving them towards resolution. Also, you will be First point of contact for all Major Incidents within the Global organisation. Besides you will be taking care of Creation and management of an MI bridge during all outages. This role also brings responsibility of ensuring that all tasks are executed in compliance with internal and external regulations, quality requirement and completed according to the agreed objectives. Along with above, you will be engaging timely and effective communication to Global Stakeholders. And, you will Interact with vendors, line of business customers and management teams at all levels of the organisation.

You shall also understand the value of focussed and process driven approach to manage major incidents disrupting normal operations and disaster situation. You are also expected to be able to assist, drive and manage Major Incident process in the areas affecting global application systems, infrastructure and security posing threats to availability and business continuity.

You will also manage the vendor teams on various aspects including on the speed of turning around major Incident to normalcy. As being the central team to manage major incidents. it is required that all employees in Major Incident team work in a 24 x 7 setup. Moreover, you will be setting up and managing tools used for crisis managementQualificationsYou are a suitable candidate for the role on meeting following criteria:
  • You hold 6+ years of total experience and minimum 4+ years of experience in Incident and Problem Management
  • You have good understanding of ITIL processes
  • You have hands on experience and good knowledge on Change and Release Management
  • Experiences in Disaster Recovery and Major Incident Handling will be an added advantage
  • You should be proficient in written and verbal communication in English with excellent cross-organization collaboration skills
  • You are able to navigate in a global organization, keen on building out strong relationships and professional network
  • You are a self-managed individual with strong personal drive
  • You have ability to analyse and solve complex issues in a timely and structured manner
  • Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders, both internal and external at all levels is one of your strength
  • You have high cultural sensitivity and you are comfortable working with different countries and cultures across multiple time-zone
