About the departmentThe mission of Quality & Facilities IT IN is to provide global business critical IT support services for IT systems anchored in NN Quality. These services, primarily involve, daily support, system maintenance, system releases, participation in projects and customer activities. The services are to be defined by the customers and centred on satisfying business needs, hereby generating value for the business. Also solutions are to be implemented and operated effectively in compliance with external requirements. Quality & Facilities IT IN is located in Bangalore, India. The department works in sync with across affiliates, Global NN Quality, PS Quality and Global Safety in Novo Nordisk.

The positionThe position holder will be working as Technical and Functional analyst for Novo Nordisk Global Quality Workflow system novoGlow (based on EtQ's Reliance technology and Veeva Vault Platform). As a Technical Business Analyst you will be responsible for Configuration and Development but also test automation engineer/lead-role. Also act as solution specialist in connection with scoping and executing business requirements. You will review, evaluate and make technical requirements. You will be required to have hands-on development with configuration of the applications according to the technical requirements, update the relevant documentation and design test automation scripts e.g. Leapwork. You will also be part of an agile delivery team, which is highly competent and engaged. You will be required to work across areas such as development/configuration, documentation, functional support and test automation. Additionally you will be responsible for basic analysis of platform/interface related issues and assign them to Platform team / Vendor with justified initial investigations and findings. You will also provide Incident/Problem Support for complex requests from LoB and implement process improvements to the existing IT processes followed in maintaining the system. Followed by reviewing system documentation as and when required. Further to this secondary responsibility will be as a back-up Incident Support responsible for maintenance and suggest improvement for elastic search (Kibana).

QualificationsWe are expecting you to hold the below skills and knowledge:
  • MSC, MBA, BA or similar graduate degree in relevant field (Software Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration
  • 5+ years relevant IT experience covering specification, design, development, test/validation/documentation, implementation and maintenance of IT solutions in large organizations
  • Should have working experience with specification, design, development, implementation and maintenance of IT applications
  • Should have good technical skills include Web-services, Java programming, Python or other scripting languages, SQL queries, and experience with application servers (e.g. Tomcat)
  • Good to have experience with performance optimisations , database tuning, performance and load test and application monitoring.
  • Should have developer skills such as Java/C++ or any object-oriented programming skills, Python, JS/scripting languages, XML,SQL, Medium-level Oracle Database understanding
  • Good to have in depth knowledge and proven track record of incident, problem and change management processes (ITIL)
  • Good to have knowledge and experience with quality management and quality processes in pharma companies or projects
  • Excellent communication skill in English both written and oral
  • Experience is pharmaceutical domain will be an added advantage
