Reporting to the Operation Manager of Billing Operation, the incumbent is responsible for performing all facets of billing operation related activities, providing support to all twelve AT&T countries within Asia Pacific, especially in India. Major activities include, but not limited to, ensuring customer account setup and billing request contains adequate documentation aligning to local regulation and requirements. Rates and discount setup, invoicing, consolidation statement, helpdesk and print & dispatch operation. Work with local tax authority on tax related matters and resolve blockage.

The incumbent is acting as the subject matter expert (SME) in most of the billing activities. Working closely with the operation leaders, the billing specialist is able to process day to day operation duties independently.

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Bill cycle operation (75%)
• Execute billing cycle successfully with the pre-defined processes and DLPs, meeting operational KPI.
• Validate all contractual documents in support of billing to ensure AT&T is fulfilling local government requirement and customer expectation.
• Remove billing related roadblocks in order to implement rates and discounts in compliance with customer contracts.
• Prepare billing supporting document and determine correct financial coding to support day to day operation as necessary.
• In charge of invoice production to ensure invoice are presented to customer timely.
• Interface with counterparts in different functions/regions for process improvement opportunities.

2. Resolve complex billing issues (25%)
• Interface effectively with multiple functional teams in Tax Team, local Tax authority, Sales, Service Delivery, Service Management and Global Sales Enablement in diversified geographic locations across Asia Pacific, as well as EMEA, CCLA and US regions on all billing related issues.
• Work with multiple functional group and customer to resolve dispute issues.
• Provide regular update to Operation Manager on monthly operation status.

Education and Qualifications:
Education: University degree, major in finance/accounting/business management related disciplines is preferred

• Language requirement: conversational and written proficiency in English is a MUST
• Minimum 4 years working experience, preferably with 2 years in related field
• Preferable with knowledge in telecommunication, network services, billing and/or customer service
• Project coordination skills
• Ability to interface with all levels of management
• Strong interpersonal/communication skills
