  • Deep data analysis and the preparation of monthly MIS & management review presentations
  • Providing timely management reporting which includes, but is not limited to:
    • State of the business, key financial metrics and variance analysis versus plans
    • Exposure analysis, Pricing trends and leakages, including suggestions on ways to improve
    • Revenue & backlog analysis
  • Close tracking and monitoring of key business KPIs such as new sales, utilization, billability, leverage & other important business driver metrics.
  • Tracking of the yearly and quarterly forecast and budget and long-range plans
  • Deep understanding of business and work closely with senior business leaders in India on their business requirements.
  • Tracking and reporting on Key Clients and Practice Area activities
  • Providing ad hoc information and analysis as required
  • Proficient working on various systems including Excel, power point, Oracle and other reporting tools.
  • Liaison with other functions and region as appropriate
  • Ensure that local practices comply with BCG policies and local requirements


YOU'RE GOOD AT

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • The person needs to have excellent knowledge of MS Office with advanced excel and power-point preferred
  • The person needs to have accounting acumen to be able to conceptualize the analysis that is required
  • The person should have a strong analytical mindset and should be able to conceptualize business dynamics during team discussion.
  • Ideally a CA/MBA in finance with 3-7 years of post-qualification work experience in financial reporting and analysis, preferably in professional services industry
  • Excellent communication with ability to work with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent customer service orientation; responds to requests with a sense of urgency
  • Displays tact, patience, and the ability to handle stressful situations
  • Demonstrates competence and character that inspires trust
  • Ability to communicate effectively (oral & written)
  • Attention to detail, well organized, and able to set priorities
  • Reliable and cooperative team player; displays consideration and respect for others
  • Ability to respect all BCG information as personal and confidential
