This position's primary responsibility is gathering and analyzing data from various sources, preparing reports, and introducing process improvement in the Contact Center at Epiq. It will require a strong ability to network across teams for data sets and collaboration on reporting needs. The role will oversee all phases of development and enhancements - planning, reviews, and executing to determined specifications. The Reporting Specialist will be able to generate useful deductions from raw information and help transform the Epiq Contact Centers use of data and analytics to improve core functionality of day-to-day activities.

Job Responsibilities
  • Gather and input data across a wide array of business processes, tables, and data sets. This may involve entering data into existing databases and creating new programs/processes to accurately input, analyze, and store critical data.
  • Take active role in data analysis and information interpretation. May include analyzing forecasting reports, client data requests, phone system and table data sets, employee roster data and training data. Business leaders will expect sound judgement while interpreting/analyzing data to ensure a high level of accuracy, usefulness, and timeliness while removing inefficiencies and unnecessary or duplicative work.
  • Prepare reports, business documents, and presentations for upper management and client visibility. Use data gathering and modeling strategies to source out new or enhanced procedures for Contact Center reporting and audit preparedness.
  • Collaborate with multiple Epiq Teams internal and external to the Contact Center. Will frequently network and collaborate across business lines, confer with managers/leadership for requirement gathering and specifications while creating and maintaining data/reporting tools.
  • Conduct audits on all internal Contact Center data reporting procedures in line with both Epiq and client stated requirements. Routine audits of data storage systems, databases, and reports with regular feedback will be critical to ensure a high level of security, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Train and encourage staff to use/maintain databases that will be used for subsequent analysis
  • Detail and track standard operating procedures, reporting logic, and other audit required activities.


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (1-3 years as an reporting specialist)
  • Call Center and related general telephone system experience beneficial but not required
  • Familiarity with programming/reporting technologies like SQL, XML, Microsoft Excel, Excel VBA, Power BI
  • Strong understanding of architectural designs and project planning
  • MS Office familiarity including Teams beneficial but not required
  • Ability to effectively network cross team and with co-workers, peers, and management through written and verbal communication.
  • Analytical skills that allow for development of data driven reports along with excellent critical thinking skills to help solve business problems/make decisions.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and time-sensitive projects with changing priorities
  • Must have strong level of attention to detail, be data driven, and able to track/review projects
