Job Description


- Good knowledge on the SDLC and object-oriented architectural concepts
- Basic SQL knowledge to query database and familiarity with Oracle DB concepts
- MS-Office Suite including MS Project and MS Visio


- Electronic Banking encompassing interactive and file-based (bulk) channels
- Banking Operations and Processes, Industry Practices for Cash Management
- Knowledge on payments, collections, direct debits, bulk file processing, and transaction banking
- Experience in industry-standard file formats such as SWIFT (1XX, 2XX, 9XX) messages, ISOXML 20022, EDIFACT, PAYMUL, CREMUL, BAI etc.


- Bachelors / Masters in from Information Technology, Engineering or Business
- Administration with more than eight years in the financial services banking the industry as a IT business analyst; Specific business analysis related qualification
(e.g. CBAP, BCS) is desirable.
- Preferable to have at least four to five years of experience in channels domain in the Transaction Banking (TB) space with a focus on Cash, Trade and Securities Services
- End to end working knowledge in Transaction Banking / Channels areas
- Experience in working in intercultural teams
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, including facilitation techniques
- A motivated individual with a great sense of responsibility
- A work ethic of dependability through punctuality, flexibility, and adaptability to perform as an efficient, detail-oriented team player
- Documentation and technical authorship
- Ability to think and act strategically across a wide range of business situations
- Naturally and effectively consult fully with business management

- Ability to use an appropriate range of analysis and modeling techniques
- Analytic, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Familiar with formal development methodologies and testing processes
- Technical and design concepts around web-based applications
- Prior experience in working with banking platform or interface partners like STS, CADM, RCMS will be an added advantage

- Good understanding of business architecture principles and methods
- Good understanding of the project lifecycle and project management support
- Good understanding of the agile development methodologies
- Good understanding of front to back system architecture - cash, trade lifecycles
