Ferguson plc is currently looking for a Sr. IT Auditor for our Canadian business, Wolseley. Reporting to the IT Audit Director (based in US) the successful incumbent's responsibilities will include the following:
  • Perform IT audits of Canada IT environment in accordance with Company's ITGC framework, documenting audit findings/reports as needed.
  • Evaluate and influence the effectiveness of IT controls and processes.
  • Perform pre-implementation and/or post-implementation reviews of IT implementations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local IT management.
  • Understand and interpret information security policy to execute effective IT Audit procedures.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems.
  • CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) certification preferred.
  • 3 - 5 years IT Auditing experience, which should preferably include some experience with Big Four accounting firms.
  • Good knowledge of professional audit working practices.
  • Exceptional integrity and character through adherence to ethical standards, personal responsibility, and respectful personal interactions
  • Possess a curious mind that thrives on identifying root problems and digging into details.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive and self-directed, able to prioritize and multi-task.
