Job Description
The AR Accounting Analyst is responsible for all daily and period end AR accounting reconciliations, AR Factoring responsibilities and Cash Flow reporting to PepsiCo US Treasury. Prompt identification/follow up with stakeholders is required to ensure AR balances and customer records are accurate. Ensure AR Sub ledger is balanced on a daily basis and period end AR reconciliations deadlines are met. Additional responsibilities include managing intercompany accounts and intercompany transactions. In order for the incumbent to be successful you must have the ability to maintain accuracy and timeliness, while addressing multiple tasks.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Monitor Oracle AR transactional activities and resolve any variances to ensure daily balancing is performed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Prepare period-end AR Sub-Ledger to General Ledger reconciliations
  • Prepare/manage all daily/weekly reporting and journal entries - i.e. Lockbox transmissions, AR reporting, US Treasury reports, Trade Suspense
  • Manage intercompany accounts
  • Create Ad-hoc reporting as per business needs
  • Assist with external audit requirements and data gathering
  • Partner with Cash team to ensure cash is applied in accordance with SLAs and meets period end requirements
  • Prepare period end Cost Centre report for distribution to Control & Compliance Managers and Planners as per DL (Distribution List)
  • Responsible for preparation of all period end AR Factoring spreadsheets and reporting requirements
  • Key point person to AR and Accounting teams for queries relating to Oracle AR entries


Qualifications & Requirements:
  • High degree of technical expertise in order to easily complete tasks that require data from multiple systems
  • Minimum of 2 years AR accounting work experience
  • Extensive software proficiency covering a wide variety of applications. Advanced skills in MS Excel with the ability to complete V-lookups and Pivot Tables, Word, Outlook, Office and MS Access
  • High degree of analytical thinking with the ability to identify, scrutinize and complete account reconciliations and accounting entries
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities regularly.
  • Ability to work on weekends, including statutory holidays, during period close
